But if you're not completely braindead you can see the second they start talking to these folks that they're being given cues and there's absolutely no universe where the local management at these locations is not telling their staff about this (and I definitely don't buy that they don't know about it either). They usually have a "cover story" like a reality TV show filming, or a guy who is interested in becoming a franchisee and is being "interviewed" by the crews while he's there, etc. My girlfriend makes me watch this sometimes.
